Rainstorm-a poem

Rainstorm
by Caroline P.

Wind blows, leaves spin,
Thunder clouds
Come rolling in.
Blue skies go away,
They will come back another day.
Windows rattle,
Lightning flashes,
Lights go out,
Thunder crashes!
And then...
Calm.

  1. A new poem!

It is direct and straightforward, with strong movement—like a storm. It has a musical quality and appealing rhyme, just enough and not too much.

Then, suddenly, it is gone, leaving me refreshed.

    Well done, Caroline!
